Kooks tour - day off - April 30th

To be honest, after last night, we'd love nothing more than to play again tonight... But it's a day off so we used the day to explore, rest up and write. Rather than drive all the way to London we made the (poor) decision to stop over half way down the country. We found a beach somewhere before the English border and kicked off the shoes and socks to walk in the sand. It was good to see the sea again. We then drove down the east coast, stopped in Chesterfield for a curry before finding our hole of a hotel in Coventry. This one's definitely on our future barred list. No sheets, no staff and Steve had a wet mattress. Everyone very tired though so fuck it, heads down and sleepy thoughts of Brixton.
